Bali Magic

There is certainly a magic about Bali that leads to the most unexpected places... So far, I have not actually planned any activities or outings, and yet have been very busy and halfway around the island (plus a couple of other islands!!). It is too hard to even describe some of the events and moments that have been going on, but I will at least try to give an outline!

The first week, I did some magical meditations on Nusa Penida Island, including in the hugest cave (it must have been at least 200m long!) with Nicole Starr, the most incredible Goddess spirit I have ever met! Meditation with Nik is channelling pure energy, no rules, no limits, just absolute feeling.

One of the funny things about Bali is you meet the most random people all over the place. Especially here in Ubud, it is hippy central and all sorts of interesting things are always going on! I met an amazing young Aus musician who lives here and have been listening to him play at a few places around.

A few of us went to Gili Trawangan Island last week- a flat little island off the north east of Bali. It is just a hanging out, snorkelling, swimming kind of island- amazing turtles and fish right off the beaches. Across 2 days snorkelling, I saw 3 turtles and millions of the most amazingly coloured fish...

I also tried paddle boarding- stand up paddling on an oversized surfboard- lots of fun, but much harder than it looks, especially as there was a huge current pulling straight down the beach!

So, am back in Ubud and have moved into my little place here. It is a really cute little 2 story bungalow set back off the road in the rice fields. Nice and quiet, but balconies, a kitchen and outdoor bathroom...

I have also been putting around Ubud on Kevin, my little hired scooter- only going slowly and locally so far, as I need to get more practice- the traffic here is pretty crazy!

So, my days are filled with yoga, friends, random travel and adventures and lots of magic!
